PR Manager - Full time

Responsible for focusing on increasing the brand exposure for the business through influencer marketing strategies, creative outreach campaigns & the generation of on-brand influencer/ blogger content. The successful candidate must be an engaging individual who is an expert in creative ideas to engage with key influencers and bloggers to enhance brand exposure, strengthen relationships & increase site traffic.

Role: (Not limited to)

  • Create marketing strategies that work across digital avenues.
  • Approving, & allocating budgets to influencers
  • Lead the execution of influencer marketing campaigns, i.e. Online & Events.
  • Key decision making with costly decisions (with strong negotiation skills)
  • Identify influencer marketing opportunities for brand promotion.
  • Ability to calculate ROI of deals & offers.
  • Ability to solely hand pick key/ top performers & top on brand inspo/content.
  • Ability to grow, nurture & monitor a team.
  • Take ownership and lead all digital PR and outreach campaigns
  • Contact and build relationships with influencers and clients.
  • Develop content ideas.
  • Detailed reporting, Profit/ Loss, Creating/ working within budgets, strategies new ideas & Calling meetings.
  • Able to draw conclusions from numbers/ performance & lead the team!
  • Approving content.
  • Report outreach performance & identify areas of improvement.
  • Producing valuable & insightful reports.
  • Develop innovative, creative and unique approaches to influencer marketing.
  • Develop ideas to further expand influencer marketing campaigns.
  • Communicate results, internally and to relevant teams.
  • Lead building and maintaining influencer database.

Requirements

  • Strong written skills. Experience in writing and editing is highly desirable.
  • Must have a minimum of 2x years experience in PR role.
  • Strong communication skills (liaising with agencies, influencers, & internal teams)
  • Understand costings/rates, & strongly confident in making costly decisions.
  • Comfortable attending client facing meetings is a must.
  • A solid understanding of the Babyboo Fashion brand image & Social aesthetic.
  • Be familiar with Google, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, & Pinterest (and and with new emerging digital media platforms)
  • Great time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a confidence to be bold and push boundaries to create engaging outreach strategies
  • Ability to think quick of appropriate strategies in unique/ potentially negative situations.
  • High level of computer literacy! (Including the ability to heavily investigate, research online, learn how to use new online tools and Proficient in all Microsoft Office).
  • An understanding of the Australian blogosphere and online communities.
  • Qualification in Business, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Confident in your ability to calculate positive/ profitable ROI deals & offers.
  • Ability to grow, nurture & monitor a team.
  • Be flexible, adaptable and ready to learn quickly.
  • Ability to multi-task is vital.
